To detail

Our full-day excursion will begin very early with pick-up from your accommodations. We’ll then head south to the district of Layo, in the province of Canas. Upon arrival at the shores of Langui Layo Lake, you’ll enjoy a hearty breakfast before beginning the ascent to the summit. Once at the top of Pallay Punchu, you’ll have time to explore and capture photographs of the incredible panorama and jagged mountains. Afterward, we’ll return to Cusco in our transport, arriving around 17:00 for your final transfer back to your accommodations.

Location: Southeast of Cusco, Cusco Department, Peru.
Distance from Lima to Cusco by plane: 42 minutes. By bus: Approximately 22 hours.
Climate: Cool temperate. Average annual temperature 11°C (51.8°F).
Low season: December to February (rainy season).
High season: April to November (plus June, July, and August).
IMPORTANT: Proper acclimatization to the altitude is essential.
Departure time: 4:30. Hotel pick-up (valid only for hotels near the Main Square in Cusco).
Return time: 14:00 (departure towards the city of Cusco, approximate arrival 17:00).

FAQs

What is the best time to visit Cusco?

Cusco can be visited year-round, but if you want to travel at the best time, we recommend going between April and October, as the probability of rain during those months is low, making the mountains look more majestic and bathed in sunshine.

What important details should I know about the Full Day?

About the Van you should know:

-In order to comply with the itinerary, the maximum tolerance to start the trip will be 15 minutes.

-The mobility seats will be occupied according to the order of arrival, and you must return in the same seat in which you traveled at the start of the tour.

How long in advance can I make a reservation?

Maximum up to 48 hours before the start of the tour and/or subject to availability (only if you are already in Cusco). However, if you are from a neighboring country or anywhere else in the world, we recommend booking at least 7 days in advance, or 1 month if your arrival date is outside of peak season in Cusco.

Do I have to carry an identity document during the tour?

Yes, it is essential that all participants carry a valid ID, Immigration Card or Passport during the tour, since the entrance tickets can only be purchased physically on the same day of the tour and presenting the document at the ticket office of the attractive to visit.
