Loreto is the largest region in Peru, a vast territory that represents the heart of the deep Amazon and is home to the country’s greatest biodiversity. It is the birthplace of legends and the home of the imposing Amazon River.

Its capital, Iquitos, is an exotic city and the main gateway to the region. Founded in 1757, Iquitos preserves an architectural legacy from the rubber boom (a period of great economic prosperity), visible in key places such as the Iron House by Gustave Eiffel and the historic Tarapacá boardwalk. It functions as the logistical and cultural center from which explorations depart.

The main natural attraction of Loreto is the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve. Known worldwide as the “Jungle of Mirrors” due to the dark reflection of its waters, it is the country’s largest natural reserve. This world-class sanctuary of biodiversity is vital for the conservation of flora and fauna representative of the tropical rainforest, in addition to being the ancestral home of numerous native communities. Biodiversity and mysticism. Come discover the Amazon with us.
