Come swim alongside friendly sea turtles in their natural coastal habitat! This is an incredible and unforgettable adventure in northern Peru . In addition to this encounter with nature, you’ll enjoy a relaxing boat ride along the beautiful coast of Máncora , taking in the stunning beaches and exclusive hotels of the Piura region from the sea . This tour perfectly combines marine adventure with the pleasure of savoring a delicious, freshly prepared ceviche right on board.

Next, we’ll head to the fixed platform at El Ñuro where we’ll have the opportunity to swim alongside green sea turtles, capturing the best moments in photos and videos with GoPro cameras . Finally, we’ll begin our return trip to the Máncora pier and transfer you to your accommodations.

Location: Máncora Pier, Talara Province, Piura Department.
Distance from Lima to Piura: 1 hour and 50 minutes (Arrival Airport: Talara). By Bus: Approximately 16 hours.
Maximum height on the route: 3 meters above sea level (Coastal area and seaside resorts).
Climate: Tropical, semi-arid and sunny all year round. Average annual temperature of 26ºC to 28ºC.
SUITABLE: for the whole family. Minors must be accompanied by an adult when entering the sea to swim with turtles.
IMPORTANT: Not suitable for people with severely reduced mobility due to boarding and the movement of the vessel at sea. Activity subject to sea conditions.
Departure time: 09:00 Hotel pick-up (valid only for hotels in Órganos, Vichayito, Pocitas and Máncora).
Return time: 14:30 (departure from the dock towards the accommodations, arriving approximately at 15:00).

Day 1Description of Activities

09:00: Pick-up of passengers from the comfort of their accommodation for the start of the Full Day and departure towards the Máncora dock.
10:00: Boarding at Máncora dock , boarding the covered twin-engine speedboat, delivery of life jackets and safety induction.
10:30: Start of the coastal tour along the Pacific Ocean to view hotels and beach houses, enjoying the complimentary drink and the exquisite ceviche prepared live on board.
12:30: Transfer to the floating platform in the El Ñuro area to experience swimming with sea turtles and taking photos with GoPro.
14:00: Disembarkation at Máncora dock and free time to change from wet clothes to dry clothes.
14:30: Transfers to your accommodations. End of our services.

What is the best time to visit this destination?

The Piura region can be visited year-round, but we recommend visiting between April and December , as it offers a very stable climate, completely clear skies, and sunny days ideal for enjoying the beach.

What important details should I know about the tour?

This half-day tour is offered as a shared service , meaning that land transportation and the boat will be shared with other clients, all following the same itinerary. If you would like to know the cost of our private tour service, please write to us here: info@360explora.com.pe

Regarding the Van and the Glider, you should know:

-In order to comply with the itinerary, the maximum tolerance to start the land journey will be 15 minutes.

-Seats on the transport and the boat will be occupied according to the order of arrival, and you must return in the same seat you traveled in at the start of the tour.

The speedboat operates at a maximum capacity regulated by the port authorities. During navigation, it is mandatory to wear a life jacket and follow the captain’s instructions to ensure the safety of everyone on board.

How far in advance can I make a reservation?

Maximum up to 48 hours before the start of the tour and/or subject to availability. However, if you are from a neighboring country or anywhere else in the world, we recommend booking at least 7 days in advance, or 1 month in advance if your arrival date falls during peak season in Piura.

Do I need to bring any identification documents during the tour?

Yes, it is essential that all participants carry a valid ID card, Foreigner’s Card or Passport during all tours included in the package.
