Our full-day tour begins very early in the morning with pick-up from the comfort of your accommodations located near the Plaza de Armas in Cusco. From there, you will travel south for approximately two hours to the town of Cusipata, where you will enjoy a nutritious breakfast (included) to fuel up. Then, you will continue your journey for another hour to Chilliwani, the starting point of your trek.

From this point, you will begin a gradual ascent of approximately two hours along trails surrounded by snow-capped peaks, until you reach the summit of the breathtaking Rainbow Mountain at 5,036 meters (16,522 feet). Once there, you will have ample time to admire the scenery, take spectacular photographs, and feel the energy of the Andes.

Afterward, you will visit the impressive Red Valley viewpoint via an additional 40-minute hike, accompanied by a specialized guide. This route will amaze you with its immense reddish mountains that seem otherworldly. Finally, you will descend to your vehicle to return to Cusipata and enjoy a delicious and restorative lunch (included) before returning to the city of Cusco.

When is the best time to visit Cusco?

Cusco can be visited year-round, but if you want to travel during the best time, we recommend going between April and October. During these months, the probability of rain is low, making the mountains appear more majestic and bathed in sunshine.

What important details should I know about the Full Day?

About the Van you should know:

-In order to comply with the itinerary, the maximum tolerance to start the trip will be 15 minutes.

-The mobility seats will be occupied according to the order of arrival, and you must return in the same seat in which you traveled at the start of the tour.

How long in advance can I make a reservation?

Maximum up to 48 hours before the start of the tour and/or subject to availability (only if you are already in Cusco). However, if you are from a neighboring country or anywhere else in the world, we recommend booking at least 7 days in advance, or 15 days if your arrival date is outside of peak season in Cusco.

Do I have to carry an identity document during the tour?

Yes, it is essential that all participants carry a valid ID, Immigration Card or Passport during the tour, since the entrance tickets can only be purchased physically on the same day of the tour and presenting the document at the ticket office of the attractive to visit.
