Venture into the heart of the Peruvian Andes and discover the city of Huaraz, also known as the “Peruvian Switzerland” for its breathtaking mountain landscapes and imposing snow-capped peaks, where the Cordillera Blanca and Cordillera Negra await you at 3,052 meters (10,013 feet) above sea level. Explore its streets, admiring its most emblematic buildings, and culminate with a visit to the famous Rataquenua Viewpoint, from where you can appreciate the immensity of this beautiful White City.

Our Full Day begins with the pick-up of passengers directly from their accommodation to start the walk once we are all gathered, the first stop will be the visit to the Plaza de Armas of Huaraz, the core of local activity. Then, the tour goes to the Archaeological Museum of Áncash “Augusto Soriano Infante”, where you can learn a little more about the rich pre-Inca and Inca heritage through one of the largest collections of monoliths in America.
The pedestrian walk, continues along the Boulevard Pastorita Huaracina, a space of cultural encounter, known with this name thanks to the famous Peruvian folk singer Pastorita Huaracina (María Alvarado Trujillo), then we will continue towards the Church of the Lord of Solitude, at this point, you visit its square and the sanctuary that guards the patron of the city, a place of deep spiritual meaning for the community.
Later, the itinerary allows a trip to the past by walking along José Olaya street, the only road that retains its original architecture after the earthquake of 1970 (event caused by an avalanche that fell from one of the faces of Nevado Huascarán, leaving as a result the disappearance of another 20,000 inhabitants of one of the famous cities of Callejón de Huaylas: Yungay). Then we will move on to private mobility in order to be able to go to the last point of our City Tour, called Rataquenua Viewpoint, a privileged location from which you can see the extension of the city and the emblematic Rataquenua Cross, All under the watchful eye of the surrounding towering snow.
Before the end of the day, there is a lunch break in a local tourist restaurant (not included), ending the service with the return to the starting point at approximately 15:00.
We recommend visiting the city of Huaraz within the months of April to September, because they are the months in which the weather is more clear, this way you can carry out trekking and hiking activities more comfortable and safe.

-The mobility seats will be occupied according to the order of arrival, and you must return in the same seat in which you traveled at the start of the tour.
