To detail

Our half-day tour begins with a pick-up from your accommodation near Main Square of Cusco. From there, you’ll head towards the beautiful Sacred Valley, enjoying the rural landscapes and mountains that line the route. The first stop will be the charming town of Moray, a welcoming place before arriving at Moray Archaeological Site. There, you’ll walk among its enormous circular terraces; it’s an incredible site that resembles a natural amphitheater, but in reality, the Incas used it as a laboratory to test different crops based on the temperature of each level.

After taking some spectacular photos at Moray, you’ll continue your journey to the famous Maras Salt Mines. This spectacular landscape features over 3,000 pools of white and pink salt that shimmer in the sunlight and have been worked by hand by the local communities of Maras and Pichingoto for hundreds of years. To end the tour on a high note, you’ll visit the town of Chinchero. There you will visit their beautiful colonial church, built directly on top of an ancient Inca palace, and see firsthand how they maintain their textile traditions. Finally, you will board our transport again for the return trip to Cusco, arriving at approximately 2:30 p.m. and being transferred to your accommodations.
