The trip begins on the road to Yura, along the way we can enjoy majestic views of the volcanoes that surround the city, and then enter Pampa Cañahuas (within the Salinas Y Aguada Blanca National Reserve), here we can observe South American camelids such as llamas, alpacas, vicuñas and guanacos.

Later, we will make a stop in Patahuasi, where we can appreciate the geological formations of this area, we will also have time to drink an infusion of Inca mate, which will help a lot to acclimatize to the altitude, then we will continue the trip passing through the wetlands and Tocra Pampa, until we reach Patapampa, the highest point of our trip located at 4910 meters above sea level (16.108 feet), here we can appreciate some of the famous volcanoes of the city of Arequipa, such as: Ampato with 6288 meters above sea level (20.629 feet), Sabancaya volcano with 5976 meters above sea level (5976 feet) and Huallca Huallca volcano with 6025 meters above sea level (19.767 feet).

We will arrive at the town of Chivay for lunch, then you will be accommodated in your respective hotels, later you will visit the thermal medicinal baths of Chacapi. At night dinner will be accompanied by a folklore show.

The next morning, after having breakfast at your hotel, we will pick you up at 07:00. Then we will begin the trip towards the Cruz del Cóndor Viewpoint, from where you can contemplate the majestic flight of the Andean condor, from here you can also have a more complete view of the entire Colca Canyon. On the way back we will have some extra stops to appreciate pre-Inca terraces and terraces, we will also stop at the Los Tronquitos viewpoint, here we will taste, with those who are interested, a juice from a typical fruit of the area called “Sancayo”, with which they also prepare a famous national drink called Colca Sour.

The next stop will be the town of Maca, a city declared a Historical Monument of Peru, as our next destination we will have the Town of Yanque, here those who like it will be able to do some adventure sports. (it’s optional). Then finally we will leave for the town of Chivay for lunch at a local restaurant in the area. We will return to the city of Arequipa in the afternoon. Our service ends near the main square of Arequipa at approximately 17:00.
