Meeting point

To detail

The trip begins by boarding the yacht that will take us to the Palomino Islands, during the visit we will be able to appreciate 3 additional islands: San Lorenzo, The Frontón (former Jail) and The Cavinzas Islands (Guanera Island where you can see a large number of birds and rock formations ). The navigation time will be from 2 hours to 2 hours 30 minutes, so remember not to have a very heavy breakfast.

Once close, our instructor and lifeguard will give an immersion talk to teach you how to enter the sea if you don’t know it. Once inside, just enjoy, because chances are that some wolves will approach or swim below you.

  • Location: Callao, Constitutional Province of Peru.
  • Distance from Lima to Callao: 1 hour approx.
  • Maximum height in Callao: 0 meters of altitude.
  • SUITABLE for children from 04 years old accompanied by an adult.
  • Climate: Temperate, desert and oceanic. Maximum temperature of 24°C.
  • Spring, summer and autumn season: from September to April (warm seawater temperatures).
  • Winter season: late May to late August (very cold seawater temperatures, you must enter with a wetsuit).

Itinerary

Day 1Description of the activities

  • 09:30: Pick up from the starting point of your choice, if you chose the All-Inclusive Package.
  • 10:30: Meeting at Plaza Grau (in Callao), if you chose the Travel Lite Package.
  • 11:00: Boarding and departure to the Palomino Islands.
  • 12:00: We will sail around the following islands: San Lorenzo, El Frontón and Cavinzas, where you can see seabirds, Humboldt penguins and sea lions.
  • 12:30: Arrival at the Palomino Islands and swimming with the sea lions.
  • 13:00: End of the ride on the high seas and return to Plaza Grau in Callao.
  • 14:00: Approximate arrival at the starting point and transfer by boat to the mainland. End of our services.
FAQs

Is it required to know how to swim to take the tour?

It is not essential to know how to swim to be part of the tour to the Palomino Islands as all participants will enter the sea with life jackets and accompanied by 1 lifeguard.

Can people of all ages board this tour?

-In the case of children, the age allowed is from 2 years and as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

-Pregnant women can only upload up to 4 months of pregnancy.

-Over 69 years old will not be able to take this tour for their greater safety.

What other important details should I know about the tour?

This tour is offered in a shared service, meaning the yacht’s capacity can be shared with other clients up to a maximum of 20 passengers, all following the same itinerary. If you want to know the cost for our private service, write to us here info@360explora.com.pe

Also, if you chose the ALL INCLUSIVE PACKAGE for the Van, you should know:
-In order to comply with the itinerary, the maximum tolerance to start the trip will be 15 minutes.
NEOPRENE SUITS: They will only be given to clients in winter, from May to the end of August, when sea water temperatures are very cold, always subject to availability of suits on the boat.

How long in advance can I make a reservation?

Maximum up to 48 hours before the start of the tour date and/or subject to space availability. If you are from a neighboring country or from any other part of the world, we recommend you book at least 3 days in advance or 1 week, if the date you arrive is between the months of December to March (summer in Lima).

Do I need to bring any identity document during the tour?

Yes, it is essential that all participants carry a valid DNI, Immigration Card or Passport during the tour.
