To detail

Our experiential package will begin with passenger pick-up from their accommodation near the Main Square of Puno and transfer to the city’s pier. Once there, you will board the boat that will take you to Inti Punku Island of the Uros, where your host family’s home is located. Upon arrival, you can leave your belongings and prepare for the first activity: artisanal fishing, which will take place in totora reed boats. During the trip, you will have the option of wearing traditional clothing, harvesting fresh totora reeds, and even tasting them.

Around midday, you will return to the island to cook a typical lunch in clay pots and traditional stoves. After eating and resting for a while, you will head to other areas of the islands, where, along with other residents, you will learn to make handicrafts with wool and totora reeds. In the late afternoon, you will take a ride in a small boat to see the lake’s native birds and enjoy the sunset before returning to the house for dinner with the family and rest.

On the second day, you can watch the sunrise during a kayak trip near the host’s house (optional). Afterward, you will go out in a traditional small boat to collect the catch from the previous day and return to cook it for breakfast. After breakfast, it will be time to pack your belongings to leave the room and return to the city of Puno.

Finally, they will board the launch that will take them back to the local port. They will arrive in the city before noon, and the trip will conclude with a transfer to their accommodations. End of our services.
