Our full-day tour begins with passenger pick-up in front of the National Museum in San Borja. We’ll head north, taking advantage of the night to rest during the journey. At dawn, after a stop for breakfast along the way (not included), we’ll begin our hike to Huachac Waterfall. At this point, the ascent will allow you to appreciate the region’s tallest waterfall, surrounded by an imposing mountain landscape. After conquering this first challenge, the trail will lead you to the majestic Curinpachi waterfall in San Pedro de Huaroquín, where the force of the water will dominate the landscape and the sound of the cascading water will completely disconnect you from the outside world. Finally, after lunch (not included) to regain your energy, you will begin your return to Lima, arriving back at the initial meeting point at approximately 20:00. End of our services.

  • Location: Huascoy and San Pedro de Huaroquín, Huaral Province, Lima Department.
  • Distance from Lima to Huaral: Approximately 6 hours to the starting point (overnight travel).

DAY 1LIMA - HUARAL

22:30: Pick-up of passengers in front of the National Museum – San Borja for the start of the trip north towards the province of Huaral, taking advantage of the travel time to allow passengers to rest on the transport.

DAY 2HUASCOY – HUACHAC – SAN PEDRO DE HUAROQUÍN - CURINPACHI - LIMA

  • 06:00: Stop along the route for restroom use and breakfast (not included) before the start of the physical activity.
  • 07:00: Resumption of the trip towards the starting point of the hike, traveling the final stretch of road to the community of Huascoy.
  • 08:00: Arrival in the community of Huascoy and start of the trek to the Huachac waterfall (2.5 km uphill hike).
  • 11:00: Arrival at the Huachac waterfall. Free time for photos and to enjoy Lima’s tallest waterfall.
  • 11:30: Descent to the starting point to board transportation and continue the journey to the next community.
  • 12:00: Arrival in San Pedro de Huaroquín and start of the second hike to Curinpachi Waterfall (approximately 40 minutes).
  • 12:40: Arrival at Curinpachi Waterfall. Time to contemplate the majesty of the falls and capture the best views.
  • 13:15: Return to the town of San Pedro de Huaroquín to end the day’s trek and enjoy a rest.
  • 14:00: Lunch break (not included) at a local restaurant to enjoy the local cuisine and hospitality.
  • 15:30: Return to the city of Lima, descending through the valleys of the Andes Mountains.
  • 20:00: Approximate arrival in Lima. End of our services.

What should I keep in mind to participate in this Trekking Day?

We recommend a minimum age of 14 and a maximum age of 55 to participate in this Full Day Trek. It is essential that you do not suffer from vertigo, especially since the idea is for you to enjoy the excursion without any complications.

What requirements must I meet to participate in this activity?

You must not have any of the following medical conditions: heart problems, high blood pressure, headaches, lower back problems, recent fractures, scoliosis, pregnancy, recent surgery, fainting spells, or asthma.

What important details should I know about the Trekking Day?

Regarding the Van, you should know:

– Seats in the van will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, and you must return in the same seat you occupied at the beginning of the tour.
