The extensive territory of the Sacred Valley is composed of numerous rivers, which makes its lands one of the best to this day, in potato and corn cultivation. Our tour will begin in Pisac, built to protect the capital from possible enemy attacks, here it is possible to observe Inca terraces in perfect condition, we will also have time to visit the citadel.

Only 21 km from Pisac we will find the city of Urubamba, here we will have lunch. Then we will go to Ollantaytambo. Imposing Inca fortress of megalithic stones, highlighting those that are nestled in the surrounding hills.

Continuing with the visit you will visit the hacienda of Tupac Yupanqui (tenth Inca, sovereign of the Inca empire and successor to the throne of the Inca Pachacutec), located in the town of Chinchero, which keeps to this day, its textile customs of natural dyeing of fabrics. Finally we will return to the vehicle to return to the city of Cusco at sunset.

What is the best time to go to Cusco?

Cusco can be visited throughout the year, but if you want to travel in the best season, we recommend you go between the months of April to October, because the probability of rain during those months is low, making the mountains look more majestic and with a lot of sunlight.
