To detail
Our Full Day begins with the pickup of travelers directly from their lodging to start the journey north of Huaraz. The first stop will be at a local Restaurant for breakfast (not included), following the route, you will enter the Huascarán National Park, here our guide will provide your physical access tickets to this protected area (for those who choose the All-Inclusive Package). In the Llanganuco Ravine, you will have a short time of some minutes at Chinancocha Lagoon to capture photographs of its turquoise hue, and continue the journey passing by the Orconcocha lake until reaching Cebollapampa (3,850 m.a.s.l./12,631 feet), starting point of our hike.

In this place, the ascent begins along a trail that climbs constantly and will take about 3 hours. During the way, you will be able to spot local fauna such as viscachas (Andean rodents) among the rocks and various high-andean birds. The journey culminates at Laguna 69, a spectacular bright blue water mirror located at 4,650 m.a.s.l. (15,256 feet). This glacial gem, considered one of the most beautiful in the world, gives us an unparalleled landscape, besides being surrounded by the imposing snow-capped peaks Chacraraju and Pisco, which are reflected on the water’s surface. Here we will have approximately from 30 to 40 minutes to enjoy this lake, and to take all the photos possible, it is important to emphasize that it is strictly forbidden to enter to swim in the lake, in this way we avoid altering the natural order of its waters and all its surroundings.

The descent will take approximately 2 hours of walking to where the transport awaits us in Cebollapampa (base camp). The tour will end with the return to the city of Huaraz, arriving at approximately 18:30.
