From this point, they will begin their trek to Soraypampa, an ideal section to test physical endurance and adapt to the altitude right before arriving at the Bio Domes camp, located in front of the Salkantay and Humantay snow-capped mountains. There, the reception staff will welcome them with an exquisite welcome lunch. After enjoying some free time to rest, they will prepare for a light trek to Humantay Lake at 4,200 meters (13,780 feet) above sea level, where they will see its beautiful turquoise color and the surrounding snow-capped peaks. Afterward, they will return to the camp to have dinner under the stars and rest in total comfort, thanks to their Domes equipped with a private bathroom and hot water shower.

The next day, after a nutritious breakfast that will provide the necessary energy, they will face the great challenge of the route: the gradual ascent through the famous 7 Serpents Path until conquering the impressive Salkantay Pass at 4,638 meters (15,213 feet) of altitude, with incredible views of the snow-capped mountain. What important details should I know about this 2D/1N Tour?

To avoid altitude sickness, it is necessary to acclimatize by arriving in Cusco 2 or 3 days before the trek. If you are already coming from a high-altitude area, you should spend at least one full day in the city to rest and recover from the journey before starting the expedition.
