To detail

Our experiential package begins with picking up passengers from their accommodations near the Main Square of Puno and transferring them to the pier. Once there, they will board a boat that will take them across Lake Titicaca to Taquile Island. Upon arrival at the port, they will walk to their host’s home to drop off their belongings before heading to the Main Square. There, they will visit the “San Santiago Artisan Association”, view local textiles, and enjoy traditional dances, in which they can also participate and take photos.

After a family lunch at the host’s home, they will have some free time and then join in seasonal activities; they can participate in the harvest, herding, or learn weaving techniques. The day will end with a traditional dinner and rest on the island.

On the second day, they will watch the sunrise over the lake while enjoying a traditional breakfast prepared by their hosts. Afterward, they will begin a tour to the Kari archaeological site, walking among ancient ruins until they reach the natural Collata Beach. There, you’ll have free time to relax or go for a swim in the lake (don’t forget your swimsuit if you decide to go in) before returning to your host’s house to pack your things.

For your farewell, you’ll have lunch at a restaurant with a view of the entire island. Finally, you’ll walk to the Chilcano Port, passing through Taquile’s famous stone arches and descending the 540 steps; this area is the most iconic on the island and the perfect spot for taking photos before boarding your boat. After sailing back, you’ll arrive in Puno at approximately 16:30. The trip will conclude with your transfer to your accommodations. End of our services.
