Our Road Trip begins very early in the morning, we will leave for the Tourist Marina of Paracas, where we will have the opportunity to stroll through the Bay in a slider, first visiting the famous Chandelier, an imposing figure 180 meters long, of still unknown origin, but mostly related to the Pre-Inca Culture of the Paracas, the next destination will be a visit to the Ballestas Islands, a group of islands that have a huge population of sea lions, Humboldt penguins and guano birds.

Then we will leave for the city of Ica, where we will have time to have lunch at El Catador Restaurant, and then have a wine and pisco tasting in its artisanal cellar.

As the closing of this Full Day, we will go to the Huacachina Desert, located an hour and 30 minutes away continuing towards the South of Peru, here you will enjoy a full-speed tour through the dunes of one of the largest deserts in Latin America, known as the Huacachina desert; We will also do Sandboarding while we enjoy the wonderful view. Arrival in Lima will be scheduled for approximately 9:20 p.m.

  • 05:15: Departure of the Cruz del Sur Bus in the direction of Paracas.
  • 08:30: Arrival at the Cruz del Sur Station in Paracas and private transfers to the
  • El Chaco Pier (starting point of the Tour to the Ballestas Islands). Delivery of the Box Lunch (All Inclusive Package).
  • 09:00: Start of the Tour in sliders to the Ballestas Islands.
  • 11:00: Return to the mainland and transfer to the Paracas Bus Station.

What is the best time to visit this destination?

The Paracas Reserve and the Huacachina Desert are located within the Department of Ica, this destination always enjoys the sun, so it can be visited at any month of the year without any problem. If you travel with children, remember that to be able to make the buggy ride they must go up accompanied by an adult. This tour is not recommended for pregnant women.

What important details should I know about Road Trip?

About these services it is important to know:

-CRUZ DEL SUR INTERPROVINCIAL BUS: Passengers must arrive at the bus station 30 minutes before the departure time indicated on their Ticket. The seats must be occupied, according to the number assigned within your electronic ticket.

-TOUR TO THE BALLESTAS ISLANDS: The seats of the boat will be occupied according to the order in which they were formed at the Tourist Marina pier.

-BUGGIE RIDE TO LA HUACACHINA: The buggie can be shared with other clients up to the maximum capacity of the sandbox.

How long in advance can I make a reservation?

Maximum up to 72 hours before the start of the tour and / or subject to availability of places (only if you are in Lima). But if you are from a neighboring country or from any other part of the world, we recommend you book at least 15 days in advance.

Should I bring an identity document during the Road Trip?

Yes, it is essential that all participants carry a valid ID, Immigration Card or Passport during the tour, since entrance tickets to the Paracas Reserve can only be purchased physically on the same day of the tour and presenting the document in the entrance booth of the attraction.
