If you love wine tours, then we invite you to try this trip we have prepared for you. You will get to visit two artisanal wineries where the famous grapes used to make Pisco—our flagship drink—are grown, and you will also taste a variety of wines. To add an adrenaline rush to this program, we will take a dune buggy ride through the Huacachina Desert, and after enjoying the sunset, we will return to the capital city (Lima).

In detail

Our package begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Lima to transfer you to the Cruz del Sur bus station. After a 4-hour journey, you will arrive in the city of Ica, where you will be greeted to start your tour of two artisanal wineries. At the second location, you will enjoy a traditional lunch to discover more of the local gastronomy. To top it all off, we will wrap up the visit with a masterclass on how to make your own Pisco Sour.

The next destination is the Huacachina. Here, you will have the opportunity to take a ride through the dunes in dune buggies. You will explore the immense sand dunes of one of South America’s largest deserts. This activity also includes sandboarding, for which board rental is included. The tour culminates with a breathtaking sunset view in the middle of the desert. Then we will begin the transfer to the city of Lima, arriving at nightfall. Finally, we will make the last transfer back to your accommodation, where our services will conclude.

Location: Paracas and La Huacachina are located within the Ica Department.

18:00: End of the buggy ride and return to Huacachina.

19:00: Cruz del Sur bus departure back to the city of Lima.

What important details should I know about the Road Trip?

The tours are offered as a mixed service; some tours will be private and others will be shared. Please remember to take note of the following instructions:

– CRUZ DEL SUR INTERPROVINCIAL BUS: Passengers must arrive at the bus station 30 minutes before the departure time indicated on their ticket. Seats must be occupied according to the number assigned on your electronic ticket.

– HUACACHINA BUGGY TOUR: Dune buggy seats will be occupied on a first-come, first-served basis, and you must return to the same seat you occupied at the beginning of the tour.
