To detail
This package begins by choosing your first experience, where you can opt for an urban tour through the historic center of Puno to see its Cathedral, the Sanctuary of the Virgen de la Candelaria, and the Carlos Dreyer Museum before viewing the bay from the Puma Uta Viewpoint, or instead transfer to the town of Atuncolla to visit a family ranch, interact with alpacas, and walk among the funerary towers of Sillustani facing the Umayo lake.

On the second day you will board a boat on Lake Titicaca for a 2-day and one-night tour, making the first stop at the floating islands of the Uros to discover how they build their homes and boats with totora reeds (aquatic plants native to the lake). Then you will continue to Amantani Island, where a Quechua family will welcome you into their rural homestay and accompany you in the afternoon to ascend to the temples of Pachatata or Pachamama to witness the earth offering ritual facing the sunset, closing with a dinner and a community party.

On the third day, after having breakfast with your hosts on Amantani Island, you will travel by boat to Taquile Island, famous for its textile art protected by UNESCO. Once you have arrived in Taquile, you will walk with your guide toward the main square to meet its male weavers, visit the Santiago Artisanal Association to appreciate their handmade garments (bring cash for the purchase of souvenirs), and enjoy a traditional trout lunch in a local house, before descending its well-known five hundred stone steps, a long staircase built by the inhabitants themselves that connects the town with the port and provides direct panoramic views of the lake to board the boat back to Puno.

On the fourth day you will have a completely free, flexible day without fixed schedules in the city of Puno, strategically designed for you to rest after the sailing, acclimate to the altitude, and explore the attractions of the historic center, colorful traditional markets like the Central Market, or enjoy the local gastronomy at your own pace.

On the fifth day you will resume the adventure by exploring the Aymara Route, starting with a visit to the Inka Qamana site to see its stone thrones carved with geometric accuracy. Next you will move toward Juli, the beautiful “Rome of America” —so named due to its large number of monumental temples built during the colonial era that emulate Italian religious grandeur— to stroll among its squares and appreciate paintings from the Cusco school, concluding the afternoon before the mystical portal of Aramu Muru and its Stone Forest before returning to the city.

On the sixth day you will experience an international journey crossing the border (Peru-Bolivia) through Yunguyo to complete immigration procedures in Kasani and enter Bolivia heading to Copacabana, where you will explore its Sanctuary Basilica and ascend Calvario Hill to see the lake, the Sun Island, and the Moon Island, with free time for lunch (not included) and to buy handicrafts. Upon re-entering Peru, you will make a final stop in Chucuito to discover the Inka Uyo fertility temple and its stone phallic sculptures.

Do not miss the opportunity to live this unparalleled journey! The highlands, its ancestral islands, and the secrets of two countries await you.
