The Larco Museum was founded in 1926 by the Peruvian archaeologist Rafael Larco Hoyle. This museum houses a collection of over 45,000 pieces of pre-Columbian art. Five thousand years of ancient Peruvian history are contained within this beautiful 18th-century Viceroy’s House.
During the tour, you will also be able to appreciate the gold and silver exhibits, the famous erotic art collection, and the open storage area, where you can walk among more than 30,000 archaeological pieces. On the way back, we will also visit the beautiful Miraflores boardwalk.
