Our full-day tour begins with pick-up from your accommodation to start the journey east, venturing into one of the most iconic canyons of the national park. The route passes through the town of Marian, where we will continue our ascent by vehicle to reach the Llaca base camp, the starting point of the hike. During the approximately two-hour trek, you’ll be able to observe the native vegetation and the proximity of the glacial masses that feed the valley.
Upon reaching 4,450 meters above sea level (14,599 feet), you’ll begin to appreciate the surface of the lake, where you’ll have free time to take as many photos and videos as possible. Here, you’ll also have time to rest and have lunch (cold box lunch, not included) before beginning the return to the city of Huaraz, finishing the day at approximately 18:00 hours.
