Ica – Paracas and Ica Luxury Package at the Hotel & Hacienda La Caravedo 2d/1n from Lima

The program begins with pick up from the comfort of your accommodation in Miraflores, Barranco, San Isidro, or downtown Lima. We will then head to the bus station for a 3 hour bus ride to Paracas Bay, the first stop on our Day 1 itinerary.

Here, we will enjoy a boat trip to the Ballestas Islands, located half an hour offshore from Paracas. This group of islands is a refuge for hundreds of sea lions, guano birds, pelicans, and Humboldt penguins.

Continuing with the itinerary, we will travel south by bus to the city of Ica, home to the famous Huacachina Desert. Before heading there, we will travel in our private transportation to the Hacienda & Hotel La Caravedo for check-in and an immediate lunch featuring the region’s most delicious dishes.

During our lunch, we will also have a show of Peruvian Paso horses, known worldwide as a breed native to Peru, which stands out for its peculiar gait, very similar to that of the chalanes, within the typical dance of the marinera Following this, we have a Pisco Tour and Tasting at the hacienda itself, accompanied by a specialized guide who will tell us about the history, grape varieties, and production process. The tour will conclude with a tasting of two to three piscos from their own production. Next on the itinerary, we will prepare to depart for the Huacachina Desert. Here, we will enjoy a dune buggy ride through the dunes while watching the sunset and trying sandboarding. After this activity, you will be transferred to your hotel for a free afternoon and evening.

The following morning, a delicious breakfast will await you at the Hotel Restaurant, after which you can enjoy the free activities offered by your accommodation, such as bike rides, visiting the cavalry, or scheduling a tour with them (the day before), exploring their grape plantations, enjoying the pool and more. Then you just need to be attentive to the hotel check-out time and be ready for your transfer, which will finally take you to the Ica Bus Station, from where you will begin your return trip to Lima. Arrival is scheduled for the afternoon.
