The tour will begin with a City Tour around the city, in this way you can acclimatize as best as possible to the height of the city. Distance from Lima to Cusco by plane: 42 minutes. By Bus: 22 hours approx.
Maximum height in Cusco: 3399 meters of altitude (11.151 feet).

Day 1ARRIVAL IN CUSCO AND TRADITIONAL CITY TOUR

07:00: Arrival in Cusco and transfer to the hotel (recommended time).

Day 2FULL DAY SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS AND TRIP TO MACHU PICCHU

10:30: Visit to Moray.
11:30: Visit to the Salineras de Maras.

Day 3TOUR TO MACHU PICCHU AND RETURN TO CUSCO

07:30: Check-Out and pick up from your hotel, who will drop you off at the bus line. These will take you to the entrance gate of the citadel of Machu Picchu.
08:00: Bus ride up to Machu Picchu (approximate time).
09:00 Start of the tour in Machu Picchu (approximate time).
11:30: End of the tour to Machu Picchu and return to Aguas Calientes.
12:00: Lunch in Aguas Calientes.
13:00: Free time for souvenir shopping.
14:55: Departure on a PeruRail Expedition Train to Ollantaytambo Station. (Please arrive at the station 30 minutes prior to departure).
16:41: Arrival at the train station and transfer by bus to the Wanchaq Station in Cusco.

What recommendations would you give us if it is our first time in Cusco?

Definitely one of the most important things to do before traveling to Cusco for the first time is to check how the weather forecast will be during your stay, Cusco can be a very cold city, like very sunny during the day, so You have to be prepared for everything.

The second thing is definitely to try to do not very demanding activities the first day, to get acclimatized and get used to the altitude, if not. We advise you to drink coca tea, drink plenty of liquids and also eat as lightly as possible (digestion here is usually a little slower than normal).

-FULL DAY TO THE SACRED VALLEY, HUMANTAY LAGOON, 7 COLORS MOUNTAIN AND TOURIST BUS TO MACHU PICCHU: The mobility seats will be occupied according to the order of arrival, and you must return in the same seat in which you traveled at the beginning of the tour. In order to comply with the itinerary, you are requested to be very attentive at the time of boarding, in order to comply with the departure and return times.

-TRAIN TO AGUAS CALIENTES: Seat locations for this service are shown on the ticket that will be sent to you electronically upon purchase of the package.

Please note that the MAXIMUM LUGGAGE ALLOWED per customer is one piece of luggage weighing up to 8 kg. If your luggage exceeds this allowance, please be aware of the ADDITIONAL COSTS that will apply during train journeys: Carry-on or additional bag up to 8 kg: USD 15. Suitcase up to 23 kg: USD 25 (costs per piece of luggage).

How far in advance can I make a reservation?

At least 20 days before the scheduled travel date and/or subject to space availability. If you are from a neighboring country or from any other part of the world, we recommend you book at least 30 days in advance or 2 months if the date you arrive is in high season in Cusco.

Should I bring any identity document during the tour?

Yes, it is essential that all participants carry ID, Immigration Card or valid Passport during all the tours included in the package.
