Travel Lite Package

1 hour ride on tubular or sand buggies (seats with capacity for 8 people and semi-professional 4 point seatbelts).
Entrance ticket to Huacachina.
Visit to the Huacachina Lagoon (Panoramic View).

To detail

The activity will begin with a meeting at Duna Camp (Travel Lite Package), located at the entrance to Huacachina. Once you’ve met up with the group, you’ll be taken to the desert. Upon arrival, we’ll embark on a dune buggy ride through the impressive dunes, stopping at a strategic viewpoint for photos with panoramic views of the Huacachina Oasis. There will be time for sandboarding and our exclusive sandtubing service (where a seated inner tube is pulled by our dune buggy), available at different altitudes and speeds, making it suitable for those traveling with children.

Next, we’ll head to the Sunset Viewpoint, a very special spot where you can sit in the desert and fully enjoy the sunset. Absolutely unmissable! After sunset, we’ll be taken back to the camp, a place equipped for dinner that evening. This space will be set up for us with tables, decorated chairs, awnings, Arabian tents, cushions, and pillows, as well as other areas such as a kitchen, bar, food and drinks, and even a beautiful bonfire area.

Around 21:00, we will be transferred to our accommodation or the bus station (if you chose the All Inclusive Package). Don’t wait any longer and experience this adventure with us!

Distance from Lima to Ica: 4 hours approx.
Distance from Paracas to Ica: 1 hour and 30 minutes approx.

Climate: Dry and sunny. Average annual temperature 22ºC (71.6 °F).

IMPORTANT: Not suitable for people with heart problems or pregnant women. If the sand tubing is with children under 5 years old, we recommend upgrading this service to private for an additional US$50.

DINNER MENU:

Starter: They will have a cheese board based on nuts, cheese, ham, olives and cabanossi.
Dinner: As a main course, you will enjoy an exquisite BBQ grill of meat (180 grams of steak), chicken or salmon, which is served with grilled chorizo and a delicious grilled vegetable salad (zucchini, peppers, asparagus, onion, zucchini) and golden potatoes.
Drinks: A bottle of red, white or sparkling wine is offered per couple, as well as soda and mineral water.

Itinerary

Day 1Description of activities

15:15: Meeting at the Departure Point (Accommodation in Ica or Bus Station) for those who chose the All Inclusive Package.
15:45: Arrival at Duna Camp. Starting point for those who chose the Travel Lite Package.
16:00: Start of the tour in the sand carts (sandboarding and sand tubing) and visit to the Huacachina desert and oasis.
17:45: At approximately this time we will be arriving at the Sunset Lookout, a special location where we can appreciate the sunset.
18:30: Transfers to the camping area for accommodation in the Arab tents for dinner.
21:00: Return to your accommodation in the city or the pickup point at the start of the tour. End of our services.

The Huacachina Desert is located in the Department of Ica. This destination enjoys constant sunshine, so you can visit it year-round.

If you decide to take transfers from Lima or Paracas, keep these considerations in mind:

-CRUZ DEL SUR INTERPROVINCIAL BUS: Passengers must arrive at the bus station 30 minutes before the departure time indicated on their ticket. Seats must be occupied according to the number assigned on their electronic ticket.

Arrivals are subject to availability (only if you’re in Lima). However, if you’re from a neighboring country or anywhere else in the world, we recommend booking at least 15 days in advance.

¿Should I carry some form of identification during the dinner in the desert?

Yes, it is essential that all participants carry a valid ID, Immigration Card, or passport during the activity, especially if you decide to take the interprovincial buses to travel between destinations (Lima/Paracas or Ica), as this is the only valid document to board the unit.

¿What happens if I am in Lima and don't know how to get to Paracas?
