IMPORTANT: Good acclimatization to the altitude is required.

Day 1TRIP TO THE DISTRICT OF HUANCAYA AND FREE AFTERNOON

2:30: Pick up of passengers from their accommodations.
3:00: Start of the trip to the District of Huancaya.
9:00: Arrival at Huancaya Glamping, Check-In and free time to enjoy the surroundings.
19:00: Dinner, bonfire, and overnight stay.

Day 2FULL DAY TOUR TO VILCA, PAPACOCHA LAGOON, AND RETURN TO LIMA

7:30: Breakfast at Huancaya Glamping and Check-Out from the cabins.
8:45: Pick up of passengers for the start of the full day tour to Vilca and Papacocha Lagoon. In Vilca, you will hike to Papacocha Lagoon to explore the Forest of Love and appreciate the local biodiversity (native plants and wild birds such as ducks).
13:00: Free time for lunch (not included).
14:00: Start of the return trip to Lima.
21:00: Approximate arrival time in Lima and transfer to your accommodation. End of our services.

What is the best time to visit Huancaya Glamping?

We recommend visiting Huancaya Glamping between April and November, as these are the months with the clearest weather, allowing you to enjoy activities more comfortably and safely.

What important details should I know about Huancaya Glamping?

These are the most important details to keep in mind when staying at Huancaya Glamping:

-Rates are not valid for Holy Week, Independence Day, or long weekends.

-Check-In is from 14:00 and Check-Out is at 12:00.

-For families, we suggest booking a double cabin with two 1.5 meter beds for greater comfort.

-The additional price per child is US$10 (per night, including breakfast).

-Unregistered guests are not allowed.

-The cabins do not have private bathrooms; however, there are shared bathrooms and showers with hot water provided by a solar water heater.

-There is no electricity on the property, but they have a solar panel that provides light and a cell phone charging station (there is Claro and Entel signal, generally 4G).

-Rechargeable solar lanterns are provided for each guest to take to their room.

How far in advance can I make a reservation?

For this package, we recommend making your reservation up to 7 days in advance. However, if you are from a neighboring country or anywhere else in the world, we recommend booking at least 15 days in advance, or 1 month in advance if your arrival date falls during peak season in Huancaya.

Do I need to bring any identification documents during this trip?

Yes, it is essential that all participants carry a valid ID card, Immigration Card or Passport during the activity.
