To detail

Our Full Day begins with the transfer of passengers from the comfort of their accommodations toward the Revash turnoff, the starting point to begin an uphill hike surrounded by beautiful green landscapes until reaching the viewpoint of the hanging tombs. You will continue the journey receiving a guided explanation in front of the rocky cliff to learn about the mysteries and the way the tombs of this pre-Hispanic society were constructed.

Subsequently, you will board the transport again to travel to the town of Leymebamba, where you will enjoy a delicious local lunch with typical ingredients from the area. After a short rest, you will head to the museum to begin a guided tour through its rooms, discovering the mummies and ancient objects recovered. Finally, you will return to the vehicle to undertake the road trip along the valley, concluding the tour with the return, arriving in the city of Chachapoyas at approximately 18:30.

What is the best time to travel to Chachapoyas?

The best time to travel to Chachapoyas is between June and November, due to the lack of rain. The weather is usually cool to mild, so it’s always best to bring a warm jacket to avoid catching a cold.

What important details should I know about this Full Day tour?

Up to 48 hours before the start of the Full Day tour and/or subject to availability (only if you are already in Chachapoyas). However, if you are from a neighboring country or anywhere else in the world, we recommend booking at least 7 days in advance, or 15 days if your arrival date falls during peak season in Chachapoyas.
