Day 1ARRIVAL IN CUSCO, PRIVATE TOUR OF THE SACRED VALLEY, AND OVERNIGHT STAY IN URUBAMBA

  • 07:30: Pick-up from Cusco Airport (recommended arrival time) and private transfer to begin the Sacred Valley tour.
  • 09:00: Arrival in the town of Chinchero and visit to a local artisan center.
  • 10:30: Arrival at the Maras Salt Mines and visit to the salt mines.
  • 12:00: Lunch in the town of Urubamba (included).
  • 13:30: Arrival in the town of Ollantaytambo and visit to the archaeological park of the same name and its Temple of the Sun.
  • 15:00: Private transfer to your accommodations in the Sacred Valley. Free afternoon and evening, and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2TRIP TO MACHU PICCHU, FREE EVENING AND OVERNIGHT STAY

  • 08:00: Buffet breakfast at the hotel and free morning to enjoy the facilities (don’t forget to check out; you can leave your luggage in the hotel’s storage).
  • 14:15: Private transfer from Urubamba to the PeruRail train station in Ollantaytambo.

What is the best time to go to Cusco?

Cusco can be visited throughout the year, but if you want to travel during the best time, we recommend going between the months of April to October, as the probability of rain during those months is low, making the mountains look more majestic and with lots of sunshine.

What important details should I know about this Package?

The tours in this package will be conducted in a private service, meaning the guided tour is solely and exclusively for the passengers who take this package, with the exception of the train and tourist bus transfers to Machu Picchu detailed below, which will be conducted as a shared or group service:

-TRAIN TO AGUAS CALIENTES: Seat locations for this service are shown on the ticket that will be sent to you electronically upon purchase of the package.

Please remember that the MAXIMUM LUGGAGE ALLOWED per customer is one piece of luggage up to 8 kg. If this exceeds the allowed amount per person, please note the ADDITIONAL COSTS that you will have to cover during train travel: Carry-on or additional bag up to 8 kg: USD 15. 23kg suitcase: USD 25 dollars (costs per luggage unit).

-TOURIST BUS TO MACHU PICCHU: The mobility seats will be occupied according to the order of arrival, and you must return in the same seat in which you traveled when the tour began.

In order to comply with the itinerary, you are asked to be very attentive at the time of boarding, to be able to comply with the departure and return schedule.

How far in advance can I make a reservation?

Minimum 30 days before the scheduled travel date and/or subject to availability of tickets to Machu Picchu (Circuit 2) and accommodation. If you are from a neighboring country or from any other part of the world, we recommend booking at least 45 days in advance or 2 months if the date you arrive is during high season in Cusco.

Do I need to bring any identification documents during the tour?

Yes, it is essential that all participants carry a valid ID, Immigration Card or Passport during all the tours included in the package.
