Our City Tour begins with passenger pick-up directly from their accommodations and a drive to the Miraflores district. The first stop will be the iconic Love Park (Parque del Amor), a charming park that pays homage to romance with its colorful mosaics of famous quotes and its renowned sculpture “The Kiss.” This spot, located facing the Pacific Ocean, serves as a viewpoint and offers one of the most breathtaking views of the Lima coastline. On the way to the city center, you will see the imposing Huaca Pucllana, a majestic ceremonial temple of the Lima culture built of mud and adobe bricks, which safeguards the city’s ancient past. Then, you will pass through the traditional financial district of San Isidro.

Next, you will head to the heart of the historic city, where you will explore its streets, colonial balconies, and plazas that still retain their viceregal charm. You will take a guided walking tour and appreciate up close the most representative monuments and buildings, such as the imposing Lima Cathedral, the Government Palace, and the Archbishop’s Palace. Finally, you will enter the Convent of San Francisco to explore its cloisters and descend into the famous underground catacombs, an old colonial-era cemetery that houses the remains of approximately 25,000 people in a mysterious network of stone crypts. The tour concludes with your return to your accommodations. End of our services.

10:15: Panoramic view from the vehicle of the Huaca Pucllana archaeological site and guided tour through San Isidro.
10:45: Arrival at the Historic Center of Lima. Start of the walking tour through the Plaza Mayor (Main Square), admiring the Government Palace, the Cathedral, and the Archbishop’s Palace.
11:30: Entrance to the Convent of San Francisco. Guided tour of its facilities and beginning of the descent into the underground catacombs.
12:30: End of the visit and return to the transportation.
