The most important recommendation we can give you for visiting this destination is to check the weather forecast, as it can be very changeable. This is especially true during the rainy season (between December and February), when temperatures can drop as low as 9°C (48°F). Therefore, don’t forget to bring a jacket to keep warm and/or a plastic poncho to avoid getting wet.
If you have day trips planned, we recommend bringing a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen to protect your skin, as the sun can be very strong at midday. It’s also important to have insect repellent on hand.
