To detail
Our package begins with a City Tour through the historic city of Chachapoyas, along with its two most spectacular viewpoints: the Sonche Canyon Viewpoint, where you will appreciate a colossal geographical fracture between the mountains, and the Huanca Urco Viewpoint, with an imposing panoramic view of the surrounding rivers and valleys.

The following morning on day 2 we will head to the ultimate archaeological jewel, the Kuelap Fortified Citadel, where you will spend an entire day exploring this astonishing pre-Inca city, walking along its monumental stone walls that merge with the environment.

The third day you will have a double exploration through the history and underground of the region. First you will admire the famous Karajia Sarcophagi, huge pre-Inca funerary capsules suspended on an inaccessible cliff, and then we will head into the Quiocta Cavern to marvel at its strange stalactite and stalagmitas formations.

The fourth day we will have a day of pure nature with a guided trekking towards the Gocta Waterfall, the fifth tallest on the planet, offering you a perfect setting to disconnect, appreciate the environment and with luck spot the curious marvelous spatuletail hummingbird.

The fifth day we will be impressed by the mysticism of the Revash Mausoleums and Leymebamba, colorful hanging tombs embedded in the rock that we will observe from their viewpoint after an uphill walk; subsequently, we will visit the Leymebamba Museum to appreciate its valuable and impressive inventory of rescued mummies and relics.

The sixth day you will begin the journey to Cuispes to register the entry to the high jungle. During the guided walk through the cloud forest, you will visit the Medio Cerro and Cristal waterfalls until reaching the imposing Yumbilla Waterfall, where you will have free time to get close to the waterfall and take photographs.

Finally, the seventh day will begin with breakfast at the hotel, giving you the morning free to stroll at your own pace, take the last photos and buy local handicrafts. Start your great adventure now in Chachapoyas!
