Ica – Ballestas Islands, La Mina Beach and La Huacachina Private Full Day from Lima

Just 4 hours from Lima you can find one of the best coastal routes in Peru. Within it is the Paracas National Reserve, located within the Department of Ica, it houses one of the richest areas in marine variety of the entire Peruvian coast. We will also make a stop at Playa La Mina to enjoy the views and a delicious picnic lunch, and to wrap up the day ¡maximum adrenaline! we’ll take a dune buggy ride across one of Peru’s most beautiful deserts: the Huacachina Desert.

We will depart from Lima at 5:00 AM; although it is quite early, rest assured that you can continue resting comfortably in the vehicle for another three hours. The tour’s first stop takes us to the Ballestas Islands, where we will see the famous Candelabra (a 180 meter long figure attributed to the pre-Inca Paracas culture) and a large number of sea lions in their natural habitat. Our next destination is La Mina Beach, a beautiful, tranquil spot with turquoise waters located within the Paracas Reserve itself; there, you can swim, have lunch, sunbathe, and, of course, enjoy the picnic lunch we have prepared for you.

Finally, we will go sandboarding in the Huacachina Desert Peru’s largest coastal desert riding in dune buggies at full speed for a maximum adrenaline rush, all while enjoying the sunset from this spectacular location.
