A detalle

Our package begins very early in the morning, with pick-up from your accommodation in Lima. We will then head to the bus station, where we will depart for Paracas. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the El Chaco Artisanal Pier, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy a boat tour of the bay. Our first stop will be the famous Candelabro, an imposing 180-meter-long geoglyph of unknown origin, but largely associated with the pre-Incan Paracas culture. Next, we will visit the Ballestas Islands, a group of islands with a large population of sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and guano birds.

Afterward, our journey continues to the Ica city (a bus ride of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes). Upon arrival, your tour leader will take you to the Culturpisco Restaurant for lunch. Following lunch, you will enjoy a wine and pisco tasting at their artisanal winery.

To conclude this road trip, we will head to the Huacachina Desert, located 30 minutes from our lunch spot. Here, you will enjoy a high-speed ride across the dunes of one of the largest deserts in Latin America, known as the Huacachina Desert. We will also go sandboarding while enjoying the breathtaking views. After this activity, your tour leader will drop you off at your hotel for check-in, and you’ll have the afternoon and evening free.

The following morning, breakfast is included at the hotel restaurant. Afterward, you can relax by the pool or explore the surrounding area (Huacachina Oasis). Around 10:15, your transfer will pick you up and take you to the Ica Bus Station to begin your return trip to Lima. Arrival in the capital city is scheduled for approximately 15:33, at which point our services will conclude with your transfer back to your accommodation.

What recommendations would you give us for our visit to the Ica city?

This region boasts a privileged climate, so you can expect sunshine year-round. However, in destinations like Paracas (Ballestas Islands), we always recommend bringing a windbreaker, as the boats are open-air. Of course, always have sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat on hand.

If you are traveling with children, remember that they must be accompanied by an adult to participate in the buggy tour (Huacachina Desert). This tour is not recommended for pregnant women.

What important details should I know about this package?

Transfers and tours will be offered in a mixed service; some will be private and others shared. Please remember to take the following guidelines into account:

-CRUZ DEL SUR INTERPROVINCIAL BUS: Passengers must arrive at the bus station 30 minutes before the departure time indicated on their ticket. Seats must be occupied according to the number assigned on your electronic ticket.

-ALLESTAS ISLANDS TOUR: Seats on the boat will be occupied according to the order in which you lined up at the Marina Tourist Pier.

–HUACACHINA BUGGY TOUR: The buggy may be shared with other customers up to the maximum capacity of the dune buggy.

How far in advance can I make a reservation?

Maximum up to 72 hours before the start of the tour and/or subject to availability (only if you are in Lima). But if you are from a neighboring country or anywhere else in the world, we recommend booking at least 15 days in advance.

Do I need to bring any identification documents during the tours?

Yes, it is essential that all participants carry a valid ID, Immigration Card or Passport during all the tours included in the package.
