Ica – Ballestas Islands, Pisco Tasting and The Huacachina Road Trip from Lima

Travel with us to the south of Peru and get to know the Department of Ica on this Road Trip from Lima. You will be able to navigate the open sea, learn about the ethnological history of one of the most emblematic cities of Peru, known as the cradle of our flagship drink: El Pisco. We will leave Lima very early in the morning heading south, after a 3-hour drive we will arrive at our first destination: El Chaco, the embarkation point for the Ballestas Islands. It will be 2 hours of sailing out to sea, visiting its beautiful islands, observing sea lions, Humboldt penguins and many more species.

Then we will leave for Ica, a destination located approximately one hour away. Here we will arrive at the Catador de Cristel Tourist Restaurant, where we will have lunch, its menu contains typical dishes of the area, which we assure you you should not miss out on trying, here you will also be able to find all kinds of emblematic sweets from Ica, such as the famous Tejas made manjarblanco and dulce de leche, the Kinkong and many more.

Continuing with the tour, we will go to The Caravedo Hacienda, known as the oldest operating distillery in the Americas, here we will have a Pisco Tasting, while we soak up the history of our flagship drink.

Finally we will close the day heading to the Huacachina Oasis, this is only 5 kilometers from the city of Ica, from here you will be able to observe its enormous dunes and sand dunes, which we will travel in sand carts, or also known as buggies, We will do Sandboarding while we enjoy the sunset. The arrival in Lima will be at night.
