That’s right, this impressive destination is located within the coastal department of Ica, just 4 hours from the city of Lima, here you can have the view of the entire Huacachina desert, in addition to its Oasis, and you can also tour its dunes in sand cars at full speed, try the donut and sandboarding.

Fun and magic here is totally guaranteed, we will also have to close the day, an exquisite grilled dinner and a comforting bonfire where you can share all the experiences you have had. Don’t miss out on experiencing this new activity.

  • Distance from Paracas to Ica: 1 hour and 30 min. approx.

  • SUITABLE for children from 06 years old* (*Specifically for the sandbox ride and as long as it is accompanied by an adult).
  • IMPORTANT: Not suitable for people with heart problems or pregnant women.
  • Pick up time from your hotel in Ica or from the Bus Station (DAY 1): 16:00 Pickup valid only for hotels near the Ica city center.

DINNER MENU:

  • Entry: They will have a cheese board based on nuts, cheese, ham, olives and cabanossi.
  • Dinner: As a main course you will enjoy an exquisite BBQ grill of meat (180 grams of steak), chicken or salmon, which is served with grilled chorizo and a delicious grilled vegetable salad (zucchini, peppers, asparagus, onion, Italian zucchini) and golden potatoes.
  • Drinks: A bottle of red, white or sparkling wine is offered per couple, as well as soda and mineral water.

  • Music Show: Accompaniment and dance music (non-professional).
  • Decoration: Campfire, carpet, tents, awnings, chairs, cushions, pillows, pouf.
  • Lighting: Lighting based on candles, torches, lamps and LED light spheres which not only serve to illuminate but also give a warm, decorative and elegant atmosphere to the environment.
Itinerary

Day 1PICK UP FROM THE MEETING POINT AND TRANSFER TO THE HUACACHINA DESERT

  • 16:00: Pick up from your accommodation in the city of Ica or from the Bus station and subsequent transfer to the Huacachina desert.
  • 16:30: Start of the tour in the sand carts or also called tubulars, going up and down the dunes, the circuits are completely personalized, adjusting the speed of the ride to the group’s needs. We will make some stops along the way to practice sandboarding, adjusting the altitudes for both adults and children.
  • 17:45: At approximately this time we will be arriving at the Sunset Viewpoint, a special location where we can appreciate the sunset. At the end of the sunset the group will be transferred to the camping area to settle in their tents. This environment has awnings, decorated chairs, cushions, pillows, side tables, in addition to having appropriate areas for the kitchen area, bar, food and drinks, and campfire area.

Day 2RETURN TO THE CITY OF ICA AND DAY USE IN A HOTEL FOR THOSE WHO NEED IT

  • 08:00: Recommended maximum time to start returning to the city, this is because temperatures will begin to rise considerably. The group will be transferred to a hotel to be able to use the showers, and finally there will only be the final transfer to their accommodation in Ica or bus station (according to their need and prior coordination).

What is the best time to visit this destination?

The Huacachina Desert is located within the Department of Ica, this destination always enjoys the sun, so it can be visited in any month of the year without any problem.

If you are traveling with children, remember that, in order to take the ride in the sand carts, they must be accompanied by an adult. This tour is not recommended for pregnant women.

If you decide to take transfers from Lima or Paracas, keep these considerations in mind:

-CRUZ DEL SUR INTERPROVINCIAL BUS: Passengers must show up at the bus station 30 minutes before the departure time indicated on their Ticket. Seats must be occupied, according to the number assigned within your electronic ticket.

How far in advance can I make a reservation?

Maximum up to 72 hours before the start of the tour and/or subject to availability of places (only if you are in Lima). But if you are from a neighboring country or any other part of the world, we recommend you book at least 15 days in advance.

Should I carry any identification document while Glamping?

Yes, it is essential that all participants carry a valid DNI, Immigration Card or Passport during the activity, especially if you decide to take the interprovincial buses to travel between destinations (Lima/Paracas or Ica), since this is the only valid document to be able to board the unit.
