If you like marine life, then you will love this tour. Our road trip, which starts from the city of Lima, will allow you to see the best of the Ballestas Islands, located just 3 hours from the city of Lima. These are located within the Paracas National Reserve, where you can find sea lions, Humboldt penguins and various guano birds that inhabit the islands at different times of the year.

Within this special outing, you will also have the opportunity to explore the southern area of the reserve, where you can visit various virgin beaches, some with turquoise waters such as the beautiful La Mina Beach, as well as Supay Beach, Roja Beach, the Isthmus of the Peninsula, a natural viewpoint from where you can take the best photos, and of course you could not miss the visit to the Cathedral, an ancient rock formation very representative within this destination.
The itinerary begins with the pickup of passengers from the comfort of their accommodations (check the districts valid for pick-ups without surcharge), and then transferring them to the Cruz del Sur Bus Station, a company specialized in transportation between destinations within Peru, with which we will provide long-distance transfer services. After boarding at the terminal, they can continue resting, since the trip will be approximately 3 hours to the first destination of visit: Paracas.
Once you get here, your private transfer will be waiting for you at the bus station to take you to the El Chaco pier, where the boats depart to visit the Ballestas Islands. The tour will last 2 hours between the outward and return journeys. Here you will also be able to appreciate the mysterious Candelabra of still unknown origin.
Once the tour is over, your guide and private transportation will be waiting for you to take you to see the Paracas Reserve. The tour within this area will last approximately 2 hours, so you can appreciate the views and also hear a little more of the history and legends about this famous protected area.
The trip will continue down towards the south of Peru, towards Ica, where the Culturpisco Restaurant is located where we will have, in addition to lunch, a small tasting of piscos and wines.
To end the day, and no less important, we will have the last destination to visit: La Huacachina, known as the largest Oasis in South America, which also has a huge desert composed of various dunes, a place where we can enjoy a ride in sand buggies at full speed, here we will slide on sandboards, while we enjoy the incredible sunset. The return to the city of Lima will be after finishing this activity, culminating again in your accommodation.














The Paracas Reserve and the Huacachina Desert are located within the Department of Ica. This destination always enjoys sunshine, so it can be visited any month of the year without any problem.
If you are traveling with children, remember that in order to take the buggy ride they must be accompanied by an adult. This tour is not recommended for pregnant women.

It is important to know about these services:
-INTERPROVINCIAL BUS CRUZ DEL SUR: Passengers must arrive at the bus station 30 minutes before the departure time indicated on their ticket. Seats must be occupied according to the number assigned on their electronic ticket.
-BALLESTAS ISLANDS TOUR: Seats on the boat will be occupied in the order in which they were lined up at the Marina Turística dock.
-BUGGY RIDE TO HUACACHINA: The buggy may be shared with other clients up to the maximum capacity of the sandbox.
Maximum up to 72 hours before the start of the Road Trip and/or subject to availability of seats (only if you are in Lima). However, if you are from a neighboring country or from any other part of the world, we recommend that you book at least 15 days in advance.
Yes, it is essential that all participants carry a valid ID, Foreigner’s Card or Passport during the tour, since the entrance tickets to the Paracas Reserve can only be purchased physically on the same day of the tour and by presenting the document at the entrance booth of the attraction.
