All our itineraries begin with passenger pickup upon arrival at Lima Airport (so feel free to write to us with your travel schedule). This way, we can schedule your first activity during one of our two shifts: Lima City Tour (morning or afternoon). On this tour, you’ll get to know modern and ancient Lima. Lima, Peru historic capital, better known as the City of Kings, was the seat of the Viceroyalty and the main administrative center of the Spanish colonies in South America in the 16th century.
In this department, you’ll find architectural gems such as museums, Renaissance and Baroque churches, mansions, and palaces that have survived to this day. Lima’s Historic Center has been a World Heritage Site since 1988, so we assure you that you’ll surely love this visit.
Continuing with our itinerary, on day 2, we will visit the department of Ica, where we will explore the wonderful attractions of Paracas and Ica, with its enigmatic Candelabra, located within the Paracas Reserve, as well as Huacachina, also known as the America’s Oasis . For our road trip, we will depart Lima very early in the morning, heading south. After a three-hour drive, we will arrive at our first destination: El Chaco (located in the Paracas city), the embarkation point for the Ballestas Islands. This will be a two-hour offshore voyage, visiting its beautiful islands and observing sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and many other species.
We will then depart for Ica, a destination located approximately one hour away. Here we will arrive at the Culturpisco Tourist Restaurant, where we will have lunch. Its menu features typical dishes from the area, which we assure you you should not miss. Here you can also find all kinds of emblematic sweets from Ica, such as the famous Tejas made with manjar blanco and dulce de leche, and many more.
Continuing with the tour, we will head to Hacienda La Caravedo, known as the oldest operating distillery in the Americas. Here we will have a Pisco tasting, while we learn about the history of our national drink. Finally, we will close the day by heading to the Huacachina Oasis, located just 5 kilometers from the Ica city. From here, you can observe its enormous sand dunes and dunes, which we will explore in dune buggies, also known as sandboarding, while enjoying the sunset. Then, we will begin the journey to the Nazca city, arriving at approximately 21:30 for check-in and overnight stay.
Early in the morning, a buffet breakfast will be available from 07:00 in the hotel Restaurant. Airmajoro staff (the airline responsible for the Nazca Lines overflight) will pick you up between 08:40-09:00 to transfer you to the María Reiche Airfield, where the Nazca Lines overflight will take place. This 30-minute activity allows you to see 12 of the enigmatic Nazca Lines (please note that flight schedules may vary, as they depend entirely on the day’s weather conditions). It’s important to remember to check out of your room before departing for the overflight to avoid extra charges (it’s important to remember that your belongings can be left in the hotel storage room, as we will return there for lunch before returning to Lima).
After lunch, your private transfer will pick you up at your hotel and drop you off at the bus station for your trip to Lima (approximately 6 to 7 hours without stops). Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in the Miraflores district of Lima for your overnight stay.
On the fourth day, your flight to Cusco will be scheduled. This department is located in the Peru Andean’s region, just a 42-minute flight from Lima. Upon arrival at the Cusco airport, our staff will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel so you can check in and prepare for your first activity.
On this third day, you can choose between two programs:
The first, called the Mirabus Open Tour (the tour takes place on an open-top bus), will take you to major archaeological sites such as Tambomachay, Sacsayhuamán, Q’enqo, and Puca Pucará. At stop at these sites, you’ll get the best panoramic views from the Mirabus. We’ll perform a traditional Inca ceremony that pays homage to Pachamama (Inca Mother Earth), the mountains, and the natural world. We’ll learn about the four most important auchenids in South America inside a textile center, and we’ll end at the large white statue of Christ that stands on the hill overlooking the city of Cusco. From here, you can enjoy fantastic views of the entire city.
The second option would be to take the Traditional Cusco City Tour (here the visit is made in a conventional vehicle), where we will visit the Temple of Qorikancha, the main Inca temple, today the foundations of the Church of Santo Domingo. Then, we will head to the top of Cusco, where we will visit four archaeological parks, starting with Tambomachay and ending in Sacsayhuamán, where we will conclude our tour with a beautiful panoramic view of Cusco.
On the fifth day, we will enjoy the ancient charm hidden within the Machu Picchu citadel, considered one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. It’s important to note here that the Machu Picchu Tour circuit is usually booked with Circuit 2, provided we have availability at the time of your quote (if this route isn’t available, please note that only Circuits 1 and 3, the alternative circuit routes to Machu Picchu, can be offered). Some additional charges may apply. Therefore, we recommend booking at least 3 to 2 months in advance.
On our sixth day, you can choose between our two best outdoor excursions (trekking): the first option will be the beautiful Humantay Lagoon, located at the foot of the Salkantay snow-capped mountain. For the second option, we will have the world-famous Rainbow Mountain, where you can appreciate stunning colors along its mountain range.
Remember that this package includes all the aforementioned tours, allowing you to enjoy everything from cultural experiences to full-on adventures. We assure you that you won’t regret your first visit to Peru!

Definitely one of the most important things to do before traveling to Peru for the first time is to check the weather forecast for each destination during your stay. Peru is a country with a wide variety of climates, with sunny, foggy, and sometimes rainy days, so you need to be prepared for anything. Don’t forget to check the weather forecast for your travel date.
For your day in Lima, the capital, we also suggest checking the season the city will be in at the time of your visit, as this city has all four seasons.
This department has a privileged climate, so you can enjoy sunshine year-round. However, in destinations like Paracas (Ballestas Islands), we always recommend bringing a windbreaker, as the boats are open-air. Of course, always have sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat on hand.
If you’re traveling with children, remember that to take the Buggies ride (Huacachina Desert), they must be accompanied by an adult. This tour is not recommended for pregnant women.
Definitely one of the most important things to do before traveling to Cusco for the first time is to check the weather forecast for your stay. Cusco can be a very cold city, or very sunny during the day, so you should be prepared for anything.
The second thing is definitely to try to do light activities on the first day, to help you acclimatize and get used to the altitude, if you aren’t already. We recommend drinking coca tea, drinking plenty of fluids, and eating as light as possible (digestion here tends to be a little slower than normal).
