To detail

The adventure will begin very early with pickup from the comfort of your hotel. The journey will then take approximately two hours to the town of Cusipata (4,450 meters above sea level). Here, we will have a buffet breakfast, then receive all the necessary equipment and a technical briefing from our guide.

Once ready, we will begin the 30-40 minute ATV ascent and the final hike to the summit of Vinicunca, also known as Rainbow Mountain or Rainbow Mountain. The goal is to reach the mountain’s natural viewpoint (5,036 meters above sea level). From this point, it will only take about 15 minutes to walk.

Once here, we will have 40 minutes to take photos and videos, and best of all, without too many people, as we will surely be among the first to reach this point. Once everyone is ready, we’ll begin the return hike to the point where we left the ATVs. Then, we’ll ride them for another 30 minutes to our ATV, which will take us to a restaurant for lunch in the town of Cusipata. Our return to Cusco is scheduled for approximately 5:30 p.m.
