The Full Day will begin with the pick up of the group from the city of Lima very early in the morning, we will have 2 pick up points: Plaza Norte and Calle Comercio in the District of San Borja.

After approximately 3 hours on the way, we will arrive at our first destination, the Bay of Paracas, here we will go to The Chaco artisan pier, which will be our embarkation point to the Ballestas Islands. The tour will last approximately 2 hours, we will sail into the sea in sliders, where we will be able to appreciate the famous geoglyph called The Chandelier. Once we get closer to the Islands, we will be able to appreciate sea lions, Humboldt penguins and many more species. Upon reaching the mainland, a tasting of typical sweets will await us in the Paracas Bay itself, here we will have free time to take group photos on the Malecón and use the restrooms, before continuing on to our next destination.

The tour will continue with the trip to Ica, it will be approximately one hour and 30 minutes, until we reach the Viejo Catador Tourist Restaurant, here we will have lunch with the best local cuisine and then a tasting of sweets, wines and artisan liquors.

Then we will continue with a City Tour through the most important places in this warm city, known as the cradle of Pisco. We will visit its Plaza Mayor, the Temple of the Lord of Luren, Patron of the city, which was terribly damaged in the 2007 earthquake, it has currently been fully restored, carefully following the details of the original building.

Finally we will close the day by heading to the Huacachina Oasis, this is only 5 kilometers from the city, from here you will be able to observe its huge dunes and sand dunes, which we can travel in sand trucks, or also called Buggies and for the most risky we will have the practice of Sandboarding. The return to the city of Lima will be after sunset.

Day 1Description of the activities

  • 04:30: Pick up from the first point (Tomas Valle, Ripley height, C. Plaza Norte).
  • 05:00: Pick up from the second point (The Comercio Street, San Borja).
  • 08:30: Arrival at the El Chaco craft pier and free time for use of hygienic services.
  • 09:00: Guided tour in sliders to the Ballestas Islands.
  • 11:00: Return to the mainland and tasting of typical Paracas sweets, use of the toilets for those who need it and we continue with the trip towards the south.
  • 11:30: Bus departure towards the city of Ica.
  • 13:00: Arrival in the city of Ica and lunch at the Viejo Catador Tourist Restaurant. Tasting of typical sweets, piscos and wines in the Old El Catador.
  • 15:00: Start of the City Tour through the city of Ica.
  • 16:00 Transfer to the Huacachina Oasis in Ica and free time for group photos.
  • 17:00: Buggies ride and Sandboarding in the Huacachina to enjoy the sunset in the middle of the desert.
  • 18:00: End of the walk and return to mobility.
  • 18:30: Departure to the city of Lima (approximate arrival in Lima 22:30).

What is the best time to visit this destination?

Paracas and the Huacachina Desert are located within the Department of Ica, a destination that enjoys the sun all year round, so it can be visited in any month without any problem. If you are traveling with children, remember that in order to take the Buggies ride they must be accompanied by an adult. This tour is not recommended for pregnant women.

What important details should I know about the Full Day?

This Full Day is offered in a shared service, that is, the mobility will be shared with other clients up to a maximum of 27 passengers. All following the same itinerary.

About these services it is important to know:

-TOUR TO THE BALLESTAS ISLANDS: The seats of the boat will be occupied according to the order in which they were lined up on the dock of the Tourist Marina.

-BUGGY RIDE TO THE HUACACHINA: The Buggie may be shared with other clients up to the maximum capacity of the sandbox.

About the Mini Bus you should know:

-The mobility seats will be occupied according to the order of arrival, and you must return in the same seat in which you traveled at the beginning of the tour.

-In order to comply with the itinerary, the maximum tolerance to start the trip will be 5 minutes.

How far in advance can I make a reservation?

Maximum up to 72 hours before the start of the tour date and/or subject to space availability. If you are from a neighboring country or from any other part of the world, we recommend you book at least 2 weeks in advance.

Should I bring any identity document during the Full Day?

Yes, it is essential that all participants carry ID, Immigration Card or valid Passport during the tour, since entrance tickets to the Paracas Reserve can only be purchased physically on the day of the tour and presenting the document in the entrance booth of the attraction.
